The single is a re-recording of the demo version of the song which gave Los Campesinos! recognition around the world, including a record deal offer from Australia. I haven’t as of yet, aquired an Mp3 of the new re-recorded version but below is the new video for the single.
The Teenagers – Homecoming
Parisian trio The Teenagers recently released their debut single Homecoming on Merok. The song is the story of a relationship between an English rocker and an American cheerleader, with pretty hilarious lryics.

Foals played new track Cassius in a recent session with Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe. The track is another jerky, chanty one, but another great one too.

Debut album Attack Decay Sustain Release from London’s electro duo Simian Mobile Disco has recently leaked. As well as producing albums for Klaxons, Arctic Monkeys, and Test Icicles, James Ford has still managed to make a great electro album, featuring previous singles such as Hustler, It’s The Beat and Tits & Acid.

Justice

Parisian electro duo Justice’s debut album † (I think it’s just pronounced cross) leaked this week. † is due for release on June 11th on Ed Banger Records, and the word on the street is that the leak of the album isn’t yet mastered and final track One Minute To Midnight on the leak is only the demo version as the proper one wasn’t included for some reason. Well anyway, † is a great album, featuring the singles D.A.N.C.E and Waters of Nazereth and a whole load of new ones. The Party features label mate Uffie and Stress provides more pulsating beats with strings and the lot.
As of late I have been listening to a lot of girl bands, no not like Girls Aloud etc……but yeah there have been two main ones…………and first off is……….
Au Revoir Simone

This Brookyln trio apparently formed after meeting on a train journey, and lifted their name from a character in an odd kid’s tv programme in America, hilariously named Pee Wee’s Play House.
The trio provide dainty little synth numbers on their second album The Bird Of Music and have sweet voices to go along with it too.
the second band is……….
Electrelane

This all girl Brighton quartet has strong feminist views although these views are hardly ever voiced in their songs. The band have recently released their new album No Shouts, No Calls whcih provides a range of atmospheric and hard hitting tunes. The band have also recently toured with Arcade Fire.
