Yes, the most underrated band in Britain are back with an amazing single. Listening to the first 13 seconds, I thought “Shit, The Young Knives have gone all boring slow guitar chord like.” Thank the Lord I was wrong, straight after those first 13 seconds The Young Knives very own brand of jerky pop rock kicks in with bellowing vocals from Henry Dartnall. The band also still prove that they are the funniest band around with the line “It look like Mother Nature’s got herself a whore/With a disregard for health and safety.” I am definitely seeing them at the Underage Festival. Oh, and this new single has the catchiest chorus since Foundations by Kate Nash, even catchier!
